SOLMlogosqServants of the Lord Ministries (SOLM) was founded in 1979 as an apostolic, teaching and training ministry sent to the body of Christ. Their aim is to reach those with a heart after God who want to know Him as described in John 17. SOLM is non-denominational and reaches believers in over 50 nations annually with the teaching of intimacy with God.

The teaching of SOLM is effective in training the saints who desire it, to hear and obey the voice of God, as stated in the founding vision statement of Emmanuel Christian Centre. Although not directly part of SOLM, the church at Emmanuel Christian Centre is appreciative of the teaching that SOLM provides and the Centre is used as a training base by the SOLM team. Many of our members have been encouraged in their personal relationship with God through this ministry and our Minister, Darren Roy, serves as a coordinator with them. As a charity we aim to support SOLM with their commission.

The commission which God spoke to SOLM’s founder, Pastor J.C. Hedgecock, is as follows:

I have children in every nation, and you have brothers and sisters, whose hearts are crying out to me. They have sought me for ministry, blessings, and gifts. I have given them those things and it has blessed them but there is a part of their spirit that it never fulfilled that is reserved for an intimate relationship with Me. Now their hearts are crying out to Me, just for Me. That is who I am sending you to, because I don't want them to take the years it took you to get to Me, because there was no-one to show you how at the time”.

Training weekends, seminars and courses are held at the Emmanuel Christian Centre and many SOLM resources are available from our amazon store: http://www.amazon.co.uk/shops/solm
